Yesterday I heard what was to me, one of the saddest ever episodes on NPR. it was a story about an interview of a man who was truly living in this quiet desperation. He had a “dream to dream,” but couldn’t quite find his way past the idea of the dream to put something into action. As I listened to his story, I felt sad, I felt moved, I felt the pain of it all. Because the truth is many of us, most of us live in that life of quiet desperation. We want more, we want different, we want better, but something somehow stops us.
Today, take a moment and think about what you could do, TODAY, even the smallest thing that would move you just a little closer toward your dream… even if it is simply to allow yourself to do so.
