Lies are funny little things, that sometimes don’t turn out to be so little. It’s been said, too, that if you hear a lie enough that it becomes the truth.
You might think the worst ones are the propaganda and lies used throughout history to promote agendas of the government, of the media, of the world. They aren’t the worst ones.
The worst of the lies are the ones we tell ourselves.
I’m too old.
I’m too tired.
I”m not good enough.
I’m not smart enough.
I’m too fat.
I’m too thin.
I’m not attractive.
I can’t do it alone.
I’m a failure.
And when THOSE LIES … and they are ALL LIES … begin to sink in through out skin, and our minds, and into our hearts, we start to believe them. And when we believe them … well, we perpetuate them. We make the lies come true.
You would never look at your child 2 year old child those things. Why do we tell them to ourselves?
But, just for a moment think …
What can happen when we stop believing those lies … and start living the truth of the amazing beings that we are.
What happens then?
