With the rate of homelessness reaching an all-time high, many talk about how to get rid of them so we don’t have to look at them. Think of how many empty apartments and foreclosed houses there are in this country, and then think about the number of homeless people. See a similarity? We, as a society, should be investing in our future by helping the less fortunate and supporting education so we can have more teachers and doctors and less high school drop-out musicians and drains on our economy. A little effort can go a long way to changing things.
